53 - divorced/unattached - mother of 3 grown children / grandmother ("TuTu") of 5 beautiful grandchildren - best friend/peep of wonderful Maine Coon kitteh Wembley (who thinks my name is "Me") --- interested in a whole bunch of varied stuff --- none of it particularly profitable --- still haven't figured out what I want to be when I grow up. I work alot. I've had 2 jobs for the past 15 years, just to make ends meet. I do mundane office-setting work for a living (call center - data entry) and I'm NOT computer literate, but I can type fast as hell! On the weekends, I work in a laundromat --- the fun just never ends... I love playing Magic on fridays with my dearest BFF. I love making things, and am good at sewing, counted cross-stitch & embroidery, drawing, crafting & creating. I used to love to cook & bake, but now do not have the time/money. Plants like me and reward me for my attention by flourishing & thriving. I enjoy all kinds of music and all kinds of movies. I adore kittens & cats --- and cats like me and easily trust me. I used to be in great shape and enjoyed being active outdoors - I studied to become a dancer and taught aerobic dancing for a short time. But I've put on extra weight and gotten out of shape the past couple of years --- nothing that I couldn't reverse, but have not been motivated to do so lately... I have some health issues that I have no way to attend to - I also have issues with self image and have been struggling with depression for many years now. I love my kids and their families. I enjoy seeing their successes and happinesses --- I want them to have wonderful lives. I do not have a "significant other" in my life. I want that very much, but I don't think it will happen to me now. I am friendly and kind --- I enjoy interacting with people similar to me, although I'm definitely NOT the life of the party, I'm still there to listen and share and help when I can.
